In the heart of Gaza, amidst the relentless echoes of war, countless families find themselves trapped in a harrowing struggle for survival. The latest conflict has left a trail of devastation, forcing many into makeshift camps where the biting winter cold only adds to their suffering. With scarce access to clean water and food, and their lives constantly under threat, the resilience of these individuals is nothing short of remarkable. It is in these dire circumstances that the Wings of Mercy Foundation stepped in, determined to bring a glimmer of hope through our various relief projects in Gaza. In response to the humanitarian crisis and upon multiple occasions, our dedicated team, supported by our generous donors and volunteers we were able to carry out the following projects;

Aid Trucks from Egypt to Gaza
Collaborating with our partners, we organized Aid Trucks from Egypt to Gaza via the Rafah border. The journey was fraught with challenges, as the border was heavily sieged and getting anything across was incredibly difficult. These trucks, loaded with medical aid, food, blankets, and clothing, became a lifeline for the people of Gaza. The people faced unimaginable struggles; no medical aid, no food, no shelter. The critical relief these trucks provided was nothing short of lifesaving, addressing a spectrum of urgent needs and offering a beacon of hope to those in dire situations.
Despite the daunting obstacles, our team remained steadfast in their mission. The coordination required meticulous planning, with every detail carefully managed to ensure the safe and timely delivery of the aid. The partnership between organizations was vital, demonstrating the power of collaboration in achieving common humanitarian goals. The success of this operation showed the resilience and determination of all involved, especially the courageous drivers and volunteers who risked their lives to bring aid to those who needed it most.
Medical glasses for Orphan Children
Our Medical Glasses project aimed to support orphan children in Gaza, who were severely affected by the harsh war, by providing a need that was crucial for their well-being. By providing thorough eye exams and distributing medical spectacles based on their needs, we ensured these vulnerable children could see clearly, impacting their overall well-being and future potential, giving them a beacon of hope to look forward to their future and remain strong and steadfast.
The project began with a comprehensive eye health campaign, where our dedicated team of optometrists and volunteers visited various orphanages and community centers across Gaza. Each child underwent a detailed eye examination to diagnose any vision issues, ensuring that no child was left without the necessary care. The personalized approach allowed us to address individual needs effectively, making sure each child received spectacles tailored to their specific prescription.
Cash Grants
Recognizing the diverse and urgent needs of those affected by the conflict, our Cash Grants project was implemented multiple times throughout the crisis. In a time where countless individuals lost their jobs and sources of income vanished entirely, these grants became a lifeline. They empowered families to address their own challenges on an ongoing basis, whether it was securing shelter or purchasing necessary items. By providing this crucial financial support repeatedly, we ensured that families could meet their minimum needs while still feeling valued.
The distribution of cash grants was meticulously planned and executed to ensure that the aid reached the most vulnerable populations. Our team worked closely with local partners and community leaders to identify the families most in need of support. This collaborative approach ensured that the grants were distributed fairly and effectively, maximizing the impact of each contribution.
